Research and advocacy

We at LEOPOCON encourage citizen science where the public participate and collaborate in leopard conservation research. Methods using novel techniques will be implemented, with projects ranging from monitoring behavior, movement and habitats of the Sri Lankan Leopard, addressing human-leopard conflict and habitat enhancement. Further, as an organization dedicated exclusively for our spotted friends, we will influence decisions that favor the legal protection of the animal.
